Kate Winslet unimpressed with 'size zero' trend
British actress Kate Winslet has said that the proliferation of "size zero" female stars and models is "unbelievably disturbing".
During an interview on BBC One's 'Sunday AM' to talk about her latest film, 'The Holiday', the Oscar-nominated actress said: "What I resent is that there is an image of perfection that is getting thinner and thinner."
Winslet, who has two children, added that she refuses to have magazines showing thin stars in the house because of the damaging effect it could have on her six-year-old daughter.
"It's only a matter of time before she becomes aware of it and it frightens the life out of me," said the actress.
